Music & Sound Design for Television, Commercials & Film
Singer, songwriter, sound designer and performer Tai Vare
is the rare artist that possesses the unique ability to combine his multi talented
gifts to many creative projects. Tai has created many successful and memorable
television commercials with his sound design and musical talents. In addition
to his commercial productions, Tai has recently completed a full-length album
under his company TVM, with all songs written, arranged and performed by Tai.
Tai Vare has an intuitive style all his own, that brings each project to life. "How
did he do that?" is an oft-repeated question from clients and colleagues.Inspired by the beauty of the mountains of his childhood home in Colorado, Tai began his musical journey at the tender age of six. Following his passion, he attended Music School in Los Angeles at Dick Grove. While vacationing in England, Tai was approached to audition for The Pasadenas, a very popular British band with a wide spread fan base. The Pasadenas quickly welcomed Tai into their band and immediately began to tour. Tai toured England with "The Pasadenas" playing guitar and making numerous television appearances on VH1, GMTV, CH4, ITV and Radio 1. On the completion of The Pasadenas tour and craving to expand his musical creativity, Tai moved to London and played with the rock band "Slice". After a year and a half abroad, Tai moved to Los Angeles where he began another phase in his musical odyssey. Tai pursued music and sound design for television, commercials and film. Tai quickly realized he had a gift for music and sound design. Tai's artistic ability in combining images, music and sound creates a rich tapestry of feelings and emotions. "Creating music and sound design is an art form that combines body, mind and spirit." An apprenticeship at B5 Atomic landed Tai television commercial spots for Nissan, Dodge & Colgate. Tai's reputation as an artist, composer, singer, and songwriter grew and he started his own company "TVM" in the year 2000. A list of National spots followed which include: Jeep, Cadillac, Chevy, Honda, US Army, US Navy, Suzuki, Toyota, Kelloggs, Northrop Grumman, and many others. Tai has created many memorable spots in Europe and Japan for products such as Kirin, Saison, Oxy, BMW, Denmark Oil Natural Gas, TDC (Denmark), BG Bank, T-Mobil and others. Tai is an exceptional talent, and his creations touch the senses of all who sees and hears. Tai is a Member of SAG, ASCAP, A F of M Local 47.
